GPS (Global Parking Solutions) has partnered with DCA Cities and private equity firm Five V Capital to create Australia and New Zealand’s leading parking technology business, DCA Group.
Global Parking Solutions was founded in Auckland New Zealand in 1993 by Mark Oliver. They are a leader in the design, build and integration of world-leading parking technology, with customers across Australasia, Asia, the US and Europe.
DCA (Database Consultants Australia) was established in 2001 by Declan Ryan, Sandy Del Papa and Steve Toal and has expanded to four offices across Melbourne, Sydney, Bangkok and Boston as Australia’s leading provider of parking and infringement technology.
The partnership is a natural fit, with GPS and DCA having worked together on several occasions to deliver a complete end-to-end solution for mutual customers.
Mark Oliver says the combined teams provide an ideal launch pad into new markets.
“We now have a clear focus on growth, both locally and in export markets. Our new owners have a wealth of experience and a strong track record in growing successful technology businesses. We’re excited to be part of a wider group with an energetic and passionate team.”
DCA Group will provide integrated parking and smart city software, hardware and services to operators and infrastructure owners within government, healthcare, and education.
