We first installed 6 first generation Metro pay-and-display meters back in 2002. These machines ran smoothly for more than nine years with minimal support and maintenance.
The university has since upgraded to newer generation Metro pay-by-space meters that allow them to build a database of users. The plan is to better understand their customers and how they use their facilities.
